property rights relating to Sound Surfer Radio and its website should be treated.
It applies to original material made available through soundsurfer.com and to material submitted to
Sound Surfer Radio by listeners or other contributors.
2. Sound Surfer Radio intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, original material created for Sound Surfer Radio may be protected by copyright,
trade mark, design rights or other intellectual property rights.
This may include:
The Sound Surfer Radio name and branding
Sound Surfer Radio logos and station artwork
Original website text and written content
Original graphics, posters and promotional artwork
Original photographs or images created or commissioned for the station
Original programme descriptions, features and promotional material
Original audio material, jingles, imaging and station production
The design and arrangement of original website content
These rights are owned by Sound Surfer Radio or used under licence from the relevant rights holder.
3. Permitted personal use
Visitors may view the Sound Surfer Radio website and, where appropriate, share links to pages on the
website for personal and non-commercial purposes.
Unless we give permission, you must not reproduce, modify, republish, distribute, sell, commercially
exploit or create derivative versions of Sound Surfer Radio's original material.
4. Use of the Sound Surfer Radio name and logo
The Sound Surfer Radio name, logo and station branding must not be copied, altered or used in a way
that suggests an unauthorised association, sponsorship, endorsement or partnership with Sound Surfer
Radio.

5. Third-party copyright
Not all material appearing on the Sound Surfer Radio website or radio service is owned by Sound Surfer
Radio.
Music, recordings, photographs, artwork, trademarks, logos, video, audio clips and other material
supplied by third parties remain the property of their respective owners or licensors.
Nothing on the Sound Surfer Radio website transfers ownership of third-party intellectual property to
Sound Surfer Radio or to website visitors.
6. Music and broadcasting rights
Sound Surfer Radio recognises that recorded music and musical works are protected by copyright and
related rights.
The station seeks to obtain and maintain the appropriate permissions and licences required for its online
broadcasting activities.
Listening to the Sound Surfer Radio stream does not give a listener permission to reproduce, redistribute,
rebroadcast, commercially exploit or otherwise use the music or recordings outside the rights granted by
applicable law.

Sound Surfer Radio may allow listeners to submit requests, dedications, comments, photographs,
messages, competition entries or other material.
By submitting material, you confirm that you have the necessary rights or permissions to provide it and
that your submission does not knowingly infringe another persons copyright, privacy, trade mark or other
rights. You should not submit material belonging to someone else unless you have permission to do so.
By submitting material, you give Sound Surfer Radio permission to use that material for the purposes
connected with the feature for which it was submitted, such as broadcasting, displaying or promoting the
submission, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
Where broader or commercial rights are required, Sound Surfer Radio will seek any additional permission
that may be appropriate.
8. Copyright complaints
If you believe material available through soundsurfer.com infringes your copyright or other intellectual
property rights, please contact us.
